USA Today nominates The Chelsea Film Festival (CFF) for Best Film Festival in North America.
February 15, 2019—Non-profit organization, Chelsea Film Festival (CFF) has been nominated by USA Today event experts for Best Film Festival in North America. Selectively chosen, CFF is among 19 central film festivals. CFF spotlights emerging filmmakers, producers and actors with World Premieres focusing on “Global Issues”. Voting is open now through March 11.
In their seventh year, an anticipated 80+ films from 20+ countries will be presented to raise awareness for the causes of our time showing feature-length films and documentaries throughout a four-day festival. Chelsea Film Festival is a competitive global platform for risk-taking narrators, empowering independent and Indie Film activists through their New York based Premiere film screenings, Q&A panel discussions, workshops and special events.
Founder & CEO of the Chelsea Film Festival Ingrid Jean-Baptiste is a quad-lingual actress, passionate philanthropist and writer. She founded the company alongside her mother, Sonia Jean-Baptiste. Ingrid reflects on their beginnings of Chelsea Festival Film (CFF) and looks towards a bright future, “We are humbled and honored by this nomination. We created Chelsea Film Festival 7 years ago with 17 films from 13 countries; our goal is the same, and that is to make the world a better place!”
