William Levy (Resident Evil: The Final Chapter) and William Moseley (Chronicles of Narnia franchise) star in The Veil, a “refreshing fantasy film that eschews digital effects for real vistas” will release on VOD August 11 through Vertical Entertainment. The Veil is set in a war-torn land where tribal factions live in fear of annihilation. It tells the story of a deadly warrior (William Levy) leading a destructive war campaign. After he is betrayed by his own and left for dead, he is healed by a mysterious princess and taken in by a hidden tribe that believe he is chosen to wage a final battle. The Veil co-stars Serinda Swan (Marvel’s Inhumans), Nick E. Tarabay (Arrow), Billy Blair (Machete Kills) and Romanian Olympic gold medallist Nadia Comaneci. This remarkable effort in indie filmmaking is a collaboration between director Brent Ryan Green and writer Jeff Goldberg and they give us ‘’a cult film waiting to happen’’, The Veil releases in select US theaters and also on VOD August 11.
