indieactivity is an independent film publication that serves daily film information in and around the independent film community to our readers in North America, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa. The publication is also a media channel for serving and delivering ads for advertisers in these regions. At the heart of indieactivity, we are filmmakers, who love film, and we make your world bigger than it had been. And just like we say at “indieactivity”, “Your story, your world”.

The Culture

It’s really the people that make indieactivity the kind of company it is. We hire people who are smart and determined, and we favor ability over experience. Although we share common goals and visions for the company, we hail from all walks of life. And when not at work, we pursue interests ranging from cycling to speaking, from outdoors to music. We strive to maintain the open culture often associated with startups, in which everyone is hands-on. Every contributor feels comfortable sharing ideas and opinions. In our weekly all-hands (“TGIF”) video conference meetings—not to mention over email—we ask questions directly to execs about any number of issues.

Our Work Process

As a startup, we are self-funded and partly run an incubator program.
