Art is Alive Film Festival was formulated with the belief that art is still alive in a circuit that seems mainly concentrated on celebrities versus cinematic sensations. It is a fun forum for filmmakers and fans to meet and merge minds. It is a cost-effective and highly creative platform for the creation of new opportunities and networks. Further, this festival awards both its finalists and winners with written film reviews/media opportunities, partnerships with poignant indie film distributors, along with significant and sizable recognition.

Art is Alive Film Festival is taking place from October 27 to October 30, 2021. This is set to be the most sensational year to date, as there are fifty film screenings of various genres. There are a total of ten countries being represented throughout these four days, with a number of projects from both the infamous and famous directors. Special events include two world premieres, two US premieres, two Oscar-qualifying film screenings, and screeners from Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance, and AFI.

There will be a live casting call and two tribute screenings – one for actor Frank Vincent, and the other honoring the legendary NYC director himself, John A. Gallagher. Some of the celebrity actors who will be attending include Robert Miano (Donnie Brasco; Fast and Furious), Federico Castelluccio (Furio, The Sopranos), and Sean McNabb (Sons of Anarchy), I also am debuting the Madsen Award for Best Actor, named after the legendary Michael Madsen himself. The event itself is being streamed across the country via Zoom.

Tickets are available on Eventbrite, and pricing is as follows: blocks are $5.00; day passes at $15.00, and all-inclusive passes are $40.

About ART IS ALIVE Film Festival
“My intent with this festival is simple: bring art alive again. I spent years covering film festivals as a member of the media. I began to discover that the main motivation for many of these events was not the movies. Because I am a leader and not one who lags, I took it upon myself to produce a platform whereby art would once again come alive. Less celebrity and red carpets; more about honoring the czars of independent cinema. Give filmmakers and fans a chance to mesh and make dreams happen. Show worthy work by astounding artisans. Lastly, help them to create more film through offering them more exposure and the essential – money.”
