The Lighthouse, BAFTA-Award Winning Supernatural Thriller in Theaters July

THE LIGHTHOUSE, BAFTA-award winning supernatural thriller starring Michael Jibson (Hunter Killer, Beauty and the Beast) and Mark Lewis Jones (Star Wars : The Last Jedi, “Game of Thrones”), hits theaters and VOD this July. Based on real events which saw two lighthouse keepers stranded for months at sea in a freak storm, the film tells a tale of death, madness and isolation; a desolate trip into the heart of human darkness.

Uncork’d Entertainment presents, The Lighthouse – “A dark and disquieting journey into the heart of madness” (Starburst), the film, inspired by a terrifying true story, tells of two men trapped in an isolated lighthouse, surrounded by the deadly Irish sea, with both their minds ultimately pushed to the limits.

Two men become increasingly desperate while manning a remote lighthouse in Chris Crow’s thriller based on real-life events. The film is directed by Chris Crow, and was nominated for five BAFTA awards including Best Director and Best Actor, winning Best Visual Effects, THE LIGHTHOUSE opened in select theaters July 6 and is now on VOD.
