La Vergne, Tennessee Monarch Home Entertainment will release Conor Allyn’s (Abducted, 2015) Ex-Patriot. This MarVista Entertainment production was released in February, on DVD. In the film, a government whistleblower is tracked into Colombia. Here, Riley (Valene Kane) is offered a contract for clemency, only to be double-crossed by corrupt government agents. Riley Connor is an ex-CIA agent. After blowing the cover on some of her co-workers, she is chased into South America. In Columbia, she is asked to take part in one more mission, a laundering operation. This operation is just a cover, to trap Riley. Now, she must fight both corrupt CIA agents and a gambling syndicate, if she hopes to stay alive.

Ex-Patriot is an indie thriller not-to-be-missed. The film was released on DVD February 20th, through Monarch. The DVD release had not been rated. And, fans of thrillers will not have to wait long to see compelling action feature!

Official synopsis: CIA agent Riley Connor lost everything when she blew the whistle on the US government. Hunted into exile, she escaped only to hit rock bottom in Colombia. Two years later, Riley’s old partner (and ex-flame) shows up with an offer. Her name will be cleared if she helps recover millions in gambling money being laundered through Colombian banks. Riley accepts the job, but realizes too late that it’s a set-up. Now she has to battle corrupt agents and a furious gambling syndicate to fight her way back home.
