Introduction: DOPE is directed by Rick Famuyiwa, it stars Shameik Moore, Kiersey Clemons and Tony Revolori. The story is about how life changes for Malcolm, a geek who’s surviving life in a tough neighborhood, after a chance invitation to an underground party leads him and his friends into a Los Angeles adventure.

Review: This movie is surprisingly very good. The movie had really a great cast. Shameik Moore gives one of the best performances of 2015. The characters were relatable. The geek aspect of the movie really made the movie fun and Interesting. This movie is hilarious. The production design of the movie are beautifully. I really didn’t buy the story of it because the story elements seemed cliched and the story has been seen on the big screen many times.

Recommendations: In the end DOPE is an enjoyable movie. I recommend it to young adults.
