The Directed Reel of Guillermo Cameo
Cameo’s cinematography begins with story and character, combining expressive, naturalistic imagery with close collaboration with directors. Throughout his career, he has worked across independent productions of very different scales while keeping narrative at the center of his visual approach.
“Joining the AEC has a special meaning for me because I have developed most of my professional career in the United States, while my roots and my first relationship with cinema are in Spain. Becoming part of the association represents an important connection between those two sides of my career,” Cameo says.
The AEC brings together professional cinematographers working in Spain and internationally and promotes the artistic, technical, and professional development of cinematography.
