Los Angeles, CA – KMB Entertainment invites the public for the launch party of its new feature film production entitled “Talk to the Hands”, to be held on St Patrick’s Day at Schoonerville Sport Bar & Grill in Canoga Park.

This public event aims to raise funds to the filming of the feature films “Talk to the Hands” and “Talk to the Hands 2”. Both films are romantic comedies approaching a new vision of the cultural differences between a deaf and a hearing relationship. Following the idea of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, producer/director Katia Belas created an innovative version to show how the deaf community lives on a daily basis and how communication, or lack of, is simply in each person’s head. The films will be starred by Miles Barbee, whose credits include the hit Broadway musical revival “Spring Awakening”, Freeform TV show, “Switched at Birth” and upcoming SAG/Indie film “The Silent Natural”, and Reb Johnson who recently starred in the TV show “Investigation Discovery”.

The films will show the point of view of a hearing college girl, Annie (Reb Johnson), who falls in love with a deaf guy, AJ (Miles Barbee), without knowing anything about this completely different culture. While Annie and AJ start to learn a new way of communication and living style, they come across many obstacles on their way to be together. The films are educational about the deaf community and the prejudice against the people with hearing disability. Co-written by award-winner Deaf writer Glenn J. Devlin, and also starring Eddie Buck (TV Show “I Killed My BFF”), Lydia Hooker, Chris Law, Paul Kennedy Jr.
