Los Angeles, CA – Remembering is an 8-minute Disney + fantasy film. Elijah Allan-Blitz is the director of remembering, and it stars Brie Larson as a young woman who uses her inner child to recall her greatest forgotten ideas. The film written by Allan-Blitz; uses cutting-edge AR technology to open up a world of pure imagination.

Where do ideas come from? Where do they go when they’re forgotten? These central questions are brought to life in Remembering. In turn, the story follows a writer who loses a very important idea when her phone rings. Personified as golden light, this lost idea is found by the writer’s inner child who takes us on a journey through The World of Imagination. It’s easy to lose touch with this world, but each of us can be inspired by it—if we just remember.

Elijah Allan-Blitz is an Emmy award-winning Director. Most recently, Allan-Blitz directed and produced The Messy Truth VR Experience, a virtual reality series co-created with Van Jones. Starring Brie Larson, Zoe Saldana, Winston Duke and Josh Brolin, the project utilizes the immersive power of this technology to create a curriculum for empathy in VR.

He won the 2020 Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Interactive Program. Elijah is the first VR Director for Time Magazine with an experience about the Holocaust created as a companion piece for the Ken Burns documentary, Defying The Nazis: The Sharps’ War. In addition, he directed VR experiences for Aloe Blacc, PBS, Laird Hamilton, HBO, and Michael Pollan.

Academy Award-winner Brie Larson is best known for making cinematic history as the star of Marvel’s first female-led superhero film, Captain Marvel. She won the 2016 Academy Award®, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA, Critics Choice and National Board of Review awards for her breakthrough lead performance as Ma in Lenny Abrahamson’s Room.

Larson was nominated for a 2020 Emmy for Outstanding Original Interactive Program category as a producer, alongside producer Van Jones and director Elijah Allan-Blitz, for The Messy Truth VR Experience. She recently starred in FAST X.
