Ken Jeong with Saban Films Drops “Occupation: Rainfall” on Major Platforms

Los Angeles, CASparke Films and Saban have announced the transaction and subscription-based release of Luke Sparke‘s space invasion action-packed sequel Occupation: Rainfall. The follow up to Occupation, released in 2018, Rainfall is headlined by an incredible cast: Ken Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians, The Hangover trilogy), Temuera Morrison (“The Book of Boba Fett”, Aquaman), Daniel Gillies (“The Originals”, “Vampire Diaries”), Dan Ewing (Love and Monsters), Dena Kaplan (“Dance Academy”), Mark Coles Smith (Last Cab To Darwin), Jet Tranter (Thor: Ragnarök), Lawrence Makoare (The Lord Of The Rings franchise), David Roberts (The Matrix franchise), Vince Colosimo (Chopper), Zac Garred (“General Hospital”), Trystan Go (“The Family Law”), and Jason Isaacs (the Harry Potter series, Mass) as the voice of Steve the Alien.

Occupation: Rainfall is currently available on, and a number of digital and cable platforms, including iTunes, Amazon Video, Netflix, Vudu, Comcast, Spectrum, and Cox.

Released in the United States by Saban Films, Occupation: Rainfall has consistently topped the charts on Netflix, iTunes, and HBOMax. The New York Times recently heralded that “Sparke’s action flick includes references to Starship Troopers, Crimson Tide and Independence Day, and features large, epic set pieces. The opening battle, worth the watch in itself, is set in a fiery, ravaged Sydney, and sees aerial dog fights, chaotic gun battles, and a killer comet”. Sequels are in active development.
