Burbank, CA: A disgruntled priest, conflicted with his faith, has his world turned upside down when an unlikely person enters his confessional in director Matthew Tibbenham‘s Surviving Confession, premiering on digital this July.

Clayton Nemrow (Nymphomaniac: Vol I) and Jessica Lynn Parsons (“House of Lies”) star in a Nathan Shane Miller-penned comedy-drama that is set entirely in a confession booth. The result is a wildly funny and at times heart wrenching cinematic delight that peels the veil back on the lives of two complex, compelling characters.

Father Morris is a dissatisfied Priest who has not been happy with his job for some time. After hearing another unremorseful and untruthful confession from a parishioner who is cheating on his wife, a quick-witted teenager, Amber comes into his confessional and starts to turn Father Morris’s life upside down. Amber questions everything Father Morris stands for and begins to get under his skin in a way that hasn’t happened.

Surviving Confession is available July 30 on digital (Google, Amazon Videos, iTunes).

Throughout the evening, interesting characters pass through Father Morris’s confessional as he reflects on what matters most in life and continues to quip with Amber, who slowly reveals why she came to confession.
