Los Angeles, California (March 30, 2021) – Paradise City has just dropped! It’s an eight-episode drama series streaming on Amazon Prime, a spin-off from the 2017 film American Satan. An accurate portrayal of the crazy and somewhat dark Los Angeles music scene, Paradise City depicts fame and tragedy all in one guitar riff. The show is quickly becoming a fan favourite because of its authentic storylines, often based on real people and events.

Adding to the authenticity enters Lorenzo Antonucci. An actor, writer and producer born in Brooklyn, New York and raised on the streets of Queens. For over a decade, Antonucci toured internationally with the well-known band Sworn Enemy. He found success as a professional wrestler but found his true passion in acting and filmmaking in Los Angeles. Antonucci who is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent, is executive producer, writer and star of Paradise City now streaming on Amazon Prime.

The Official Teaser Trailer for PARADISE CITY created by Ash Avildsen

“From my Puerto Rican mother I learned that failure was never an option. From my Italian immigrant father, I learned that you can do anything you want, you just got to want it. Paradise City really hits home because of my time in the band Sworn Enemy. Being a touring musician around the world gave me a lot of the real-life experiences that I was able to bring into Paradise City, especially the world of my band Over It All. My Puerto Rican/Italian energy and my life on the streets always kept me grounded. Always wanting to speak from the heart. I lived a lot on the road and took all the bumps and bruises of rejection and the failures Pauly goes through. My character Pauly is based on my best friend Paulie Antignani who passed away in 2018. He was our drummer in Sworn Enemy” said Antonucci about his role as Pauly Antignani. Available now: http://smarturl.it/ParadiseCity

Some of Antonucci’s television credits include Ballers (HBO), Game of Thrones (HBO) and Paradise City (Amazon) in which he is also a writer and executive producer. Film credits include American SatanReactor (Bruce Willis) & Cracka among many film and television credits.
