Inspirational Family Drama Sets Digital Debut for North American VOD Platforms on July 4, 2023

Los Angeles, CA (June 1st, 2023). Freestyle Digital Media is the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group. It has acquired North American VOD rights to the inspirational family drama Call Sign Romeo. The feature film will be available to rent/own on all digital HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms. Call Sign Romeo will be available starting on July 4, 2023, through Freestyle Digital Media.
Call Sign Romeo is like CREED meets TOP GUN. As high school wrestler Chris Torres pursues his dream to attend the U.S. Naval Academy and fly jets. Chris will need to win a state championship, while navigating the challenges of his senior year. Including his girlfriend going to West Point. A nemesis they call Kid Hulk, and Navy SEAL trainers that stand in his way. With all the drama and action, will Chris achieve his goal of becoming a Navy fighter pilot?
The film was shot on location in the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina. It highlights the scenery and attractions of the region. The area’s numerous features include beaches, sunsets, and landmarks such as the Wright Brothers Memorial, where man first took flight. Inspired by real events, the movie provides powerful messaging, including perseverance, anti-bullying, girl-power, and teamwork. With a powerful rocking soundtrack and authentic wrestling action, it’s an inspiring movie the whole family will enjoy.

Based on a story by Sam Cortez. it was directed by Raymond Wallace and produced by Rayolight Productions. The screenplay is by Sam Cortez & Stuart Parks II. The cast are Terry Schappert, star of Hollywood Weapons: Fact or Fiction as Navy Coach Givens. Chris Ana (Chris Torres), Rebbekkah Eller (Lisa Morgan), and Kelsey Thompson (Sarah Torres). And John Wilson (Coach Kelvin), and Stuart Parks II (‘Digger’).

The film is rated PG-13 for some thematic elements and language.
