Academy Award-winning director Anders Walter’s live-action short film Child Of Mine focuses on a new young mother who tries to confront her past.
Synopsis: Anna has a loving and understanding husband and has become the mother of her wonderful firstborn daughter. But traces from her own traumatic childhood makes it difficult for her to deal with her new role as a mother.
Director Anders Walter is a Danish Academy Award-winning director and screenwriter. In 2017 his first US feature I Kill Giants premiered at the Toronto Film Festival. Prior to his feature debut, Anders directed four short films including Helium which won the 2014 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short in 2014. Walter’s other short film 9 Meter was shortlisted for a 2013 Academy Award in the Live Action Short Film category.
Producer Lene Borglum co-founded Space Rocket Nation with director Nicolas Winding Refn after their successful collaboration on Nicolas’s feature film Valhalla Rising. Borglum’s producing credits include Refn’s Only God Forgives, Refn’s Amazon series Too Old to Die Young, Liv Corfixen’s My Life, Vibeke Muasya’s thriller Twisted, and Anders Walter’s Child of Mine. Børglum was one of the key executives and co-owners of Zentropa from its early start in 1992 and until 2007, executive producing Lars von Trier’s The Kingdom, The Idiots, Breaking The Waves, Dancer in the Dark, Dogville, Manderlay, and The Boss Of It All. Lene is currently in development with several other projects.
Cinematographer Louise McLaughlin has won a variety of awards including the 2021 Best Cinematographer Award at the Bodil Film Awards and the Robert Awards (Danish Academy Awards) for her work on the feature film The Good Traitor. Louise has worked on a variety of projects including the Netflix series The Chestnut Man, Stille Liv featuring Malene Choi, Team Hurricane, Homegrown and Whole.
