Comedy Web-Series “Deliver Ants” Season 1 Premiere

Los Angeles, CA – From the creator of acclaimed series “202” Mykell Barlow and award winning director Justin Patten comes a brand new digital comedy series “Deliver Ants.” Four completed episodes have been released with the hope of more coming after the COVID-19 quarantine has been lifted.

We are so excited to bring something fresh and hilarious to your screens”, said co-creator and director Justin Patten of A Great Adventure Productions. After their success with 202 The Series, Deliver Ants expects to supercede expectations with the funny. The series is a digital mini series with each episode being about 7 minutes long. “I don’t think there has been a show that involves this kind of subject matter. It’s fresh.” Says co-creator and writer Mykell Barlow.

Deliver Ants (a wordplay on Deliverance) is a short form digital comedy series about the bizarre employees of an insect distribution warehouse. When the owner, Lily (played by Rachel Wotherspoon), is financially cut off from her obscenely rich parents the colorful employees, who all happen to be ex-cons rally around her to help save the company.

The cast are Mykell Barlow who serves as co-writer and plays Willie. Rachel Wotherspoon as Lily, Naveed Mardi as Roosevelt, Sean James as Bubbles and Evan Strand as Fern and Mark Swenson as Gorgeous George.

Justin Patten is the co-writer, award winning director and editor. After winning an online short film competition, he worked on indie productions until a job as a production assistant on the ABC Family show “Baby Daddy“. He has written and directed short films and webseries. He also uses his talents as a production designer, designing Films and television shows and working for companies like BuzzFeed, Subaru, and Tide.

Mykell Barlow earned a starring role alongside Mike “The Situation” in a web series called New Stage. Mykell finished 6th in a reality show called “Take The Stage” where the contestants are mentored by super music manager Johnny Wright and Grammy winning songwriter and producer Rodney “Dark Child” Jerkins. The last few years Mykell created the hit web series, 202 and is currently developing his first documentary about African American Farm owners. He is a host for Maria Menounos’s network Afterbuzz TV and the personal assistant to Rupaul Charles.
