Filmmakers from around the world honoured for their impactful artistry and commitment to nonviolence in cinema

Hollywood, CA (October 7, 2025). The 14th annual edition of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, the most important and renowned nonviolent film festival in the world, proudly sponsored by Largo.ai, has reached a triumphant conclusion with an impressive Awards Show (1h and 20min), skillfully created and edited by Daria Trifu and now streaming on GlobalCinema.online.

Renowned for curating high-quality nonviolent films, this year’s festival showcased an impressive selection of 41 movies representing 29 countries across diverse categories, including narrative, documentary, docudrama, experimental, animation, and music videos. These films reflect the creativity and dedication of a vibrant global community of filmmakers who consistently produce compelling and thought-provoking content.

The films competed for prestigious awards adjudicated by an esteemed international jury, including Jill Gwen, former CFO and head of Finance and Operations for Fox Searchlight Pictures; American film director Brad Mays; Hollywood producer and SAG-AFTRA Union board member Ruben Roberto Gomez; and Greek journalist Eleni Giannakidou.

Film director Bruno Pischiutta and producer Daria Trifu, the Canadian co-founders of this esteemed nonviolent film festival, broadcasted the event for eleven days on GlobalCinema.online to an audience spanning 188 countries, from the picturesque rooftop of the Omilos Social Club, owned by Odysseas and Paschalis Magionas in Greece.

Sponsored by Largo.ai, a pioneering AI-driven technology company backed by Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone, the Global Nonviolent Film Festival 2025 was a remarkable celebration.
