Hollywood, CA (September 9, 2025). Largo.ai, a pioneering AI-driven technology providing filmmakers with essential tools for financing and distributing their projects, has been announced as the Official Sponsor of the 14th annual Global Nonviolent Film Festival. Backed by Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone, Largo supports the festival’s proven record of showcasing impactful narratives that inspire and uplift without resorting to violence.
Largo.ai is already collaborating with over 600 organizations within the film and TV sectors. Including several Hollywood studios and large agencies. Largo.ai offers filmmakers valuable insights into audience preferences and market trends. Thus enabling them to make informed decisions about their projects. Their technology identifies potential funding sources and investors aligned with the filmmakers’ vision, streamlining the financing process and increasing the likelihood of securing necessary capital.
In a recent interview, Sami Arpa, CEO and Co-founder of Largo, emphasized the company’s mission to democratize the use of artificial intelligence in filmmaking, which has traditionally been dominated by streaming giants. Since its launch in 2020, Largo has aimed to make AI accessible to the broader film industry, helping creators produce better content more efficiently and with reduced risk. As societal fears around AI diminish, its adoption is rapidly increasing.

Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, with additional offices in Los Angeles, London, and Istanbul. Largo.ai has analyzed over 400,000 films and TV series, 950,000 talents, and 200,000 ads to train its Ai programs. The company’s patented technologies focus on understanding content through cinematographic patterns and simulating human behavior, enabling advanced AI models to evaluate a project’s strengths, weaknesses, and audience engagement.
Film Maestro Bruno Pischiutta, Co-founder and Artistic Consultant of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, stated: “I am delighted that Largo has become the Official Sponsor of our festival. As I begin to explore the use of AI tools in my film productions, I find this technology not only intriguing but also immensely beneficial. The way AI is evolving the filmmaking process is revolutionary, streamlining production in ways we never thought possible. I am eager to see the future possibilities that AI will bring to our industry, and I believe this partnership will inspire filmmakers to embrace these advancements and unlock new dimensions of storytelling.”
Since its inception in 2012, the Global Nonviolent Film Festival has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a globally recognized event, celebrated for its commitment to independent cinema that is nonpolitical and free of gratuitous violence. Broadcast annually to a multinational audience in 188 countries via the streaming channel GlobalCinema.online. The festival attracts discerning viewers seeking content that entertains, informs, and enriches their cultural understanding. This diverse audience appreciates artistic expressions from around the world, resulting in a rich tapestry of films and documentaries that reflect the vibrant realities of our global community.

Film producer Daria Trifu, Co-founder and Director of the Global Nonviolent Film Festival, stated: “By supporting our festival, Largo is helping to amplify the visibility of impactful narratives that inspire and uplift, while enabling us to spread awareness—within the very active independent film community that follows our festival from 14 years—about their cutting-edge technology that enhances the filmmaking process.”
The festival is renowned for its high-quality nonviolent films, featuring a curated selection of 30 to 40 short and feature-length works across categories such as narrative, documentary, docudrama, experimental, animation, and music videos. This impressive lineup showcases the creativity and dedication of an active community of filmmakers who consistently produce compelling content. The festival has a very high return rate, with many directors and producers who participate once returning with their new works.
In addition to showcasing exceptional films, the festival features a robust program that includes daily video presentations and articles in DARIA! magazine, providing filmmakers with valuable exposure and recognition. Its outreach efforts, including daily e-Newsletters to 30,000 recipients and a combined social media following of over 100,000, amplify the voices of these talented creators, ensuring their stories reach a global audience eager for meaningful and transformative cinema. This inclusive approach allows for a diverse range of voices and stories to be shared, enriching the festival experience for both audiences and creators alike.
The Global Nonviolent Film Festival, a division of the Canadian media company Global Film Studio, was founded by film maestro Bruno Pischiutta and producer Daria Trifu, who continue to organize and host the event to this day.
The festival will take place from September 25 to October 12 on GlobalCinema.online, with the jury announced on September 11 and the lineup of selected films revealed on September 16.
