Mhairi Calvey Gives Her Biggest Year Yet: Complete with Four Feature Releases

Mhairi Calvey has four (4) feature films due for release in 2019. The three (3) main productions are 3 Lives, Robert The Bruce and The Curse Of Hobbes House. The details for each feature film project are outlined below. Each film is presented with its plot, filmmakers and cast.

Mhairi Calvey also produced, wrote and directed her first short-film titled, Gaslight (Gaslight is post-production). The film deals with the issues in and around the topic of Domestic Abuse. Back in April Mhairi Calvey launched her own production company Dream Reel Entertainment. Dream Reel Entertainment produces short films, feature films and content for media.

Mhairi Calvey is continues her training in martial arts in Krav Maga and a modelling career. She has recently modelled for bridal couture Sophia Grace Couture in Scotland as well as Corsets for Poppaea Bicknell.

Film (Feature) : 3 Lives
Mhairi stars in the lead role as a woman on the run from ruthless kidnappers she discovers her rescuer is the man jailed for attacking her 15 years before.
Release : 3 Lives will be released in the US August 6th on DVD and VOD. The film focuses on sexual abuse, and women who suffer from it. 3 Lives was filmed on location in Germany.

Mhairi plays a cameo role as Elizabeth de Burgh in a story of a nobleman-turned-outlaw, a hero who was crowned king in 14th century Scotland.

Film (Feature) : The Curse Of Hobbes House
This is Mhairi Calvey’s first film as a producer. She also plays the lead role of Jane Dormant who after she learnt of the death of her Alexandra (an aunt) she expects a life-saving inheritance, but finds herself battling bloodthirsty zombies instead, and fighting for survival and life.
Release : The Curse of Hobbes House has partnered with sales agent Screenbound for international sales and the filmmakers are proud to present a first view of the Work In Progress scenes at Film London with a cast and director Q&A on June 26th. An official date is yet unannounced.

: Mhairi Calvey is in preparation to film a war drama titled The Point Of No Return, The Invisible Man and Marys.

The Point Of No Return is scheduled to be directed by Rick Roberts and a female is attached to star in the lead role.

The Invisible Man is directed by Paul Dudbridge and Marys directed by Juliane Block.


Mhairi Calvey uncovers her character ‘Emma’ in Juliane Block’s 3 Lives

Mhairi Calvey played the Queen Of Scots in ‘Robert the Bruce‘ feature film with Jared Harris which will be in cinema’s from the 28th June. She has just finished playing the lead role in ‘The Curse Of Hobbes House‘ and will be playing a leading role in feature film ‘The Point Of No Return‘ from 20th July until 12th August. Mhairi Calvey is highly skilled in Krav Maga Martial Arts which can be seen on her fight reel & she’s trained in a number of weapons. She can also be seen in ‘The Journey Home‘ produced by Mel Gibson.
