The petition reads:
“The MOPICON bill is simply created to enrich a few people while the repercussions is devastating to filmmakers and creatives in the filmmaking industry in Nigeria. The bill is against young creative filmmakers and new comers in the field and essentially does not add to the development of the industry or even the people who would be asked to register with MOPICON. I urge all filmmakers (NOLLYWOOD), lovers of Nigerian film to sign this petition and have the MOPICON BILL thrown out.”
