Damien Giglietta’s TKG: The Kids of Grove is a Thrill to Watch

TKG: The Kids of Grove is the feature film debut from visionary director Damien Giglietta. Produced by 88 to 1 Productions; “TKG” is a thrilling and compelling story of the consequences suffered in the name of promoting and developing societal values and conditions of living.

The story centres around Wright Property Firm who have recently evicted residents from the government assisted housing unit known as ‘The Grove’ in their quest to bring a higher standard of community to the area.

Nicholas Wright (Mick Preston) leads the team of property developers who are responsible for implementing this initiative. Team Leader Marissa (Maria Velletri) follows his directive and despite her moral conflict completes the orders delivered by her superior with the assistance of her delegates.

What follows from this is a vengeful and bloody retaliation from a gang situated inside ‘The Grove’ who call themselves the ‘TKG’. Jonti (Mark Casamento) heads this sadistic mission of revenge who along with his followers; vow to make all those involved in the Grove shut down project pay the ultimate price.

The ‘TKG’ hunt and stalk the employees of Wright Property Firm with a sociopathic vengeance and violence that has never before been seen in cinematic history.

The twists and turns which follow this tumultuous journey will leave viewers and audiences truly questioning exactly how much faith is placed on those with power, to make decisions in the name of societal value.
Filmed in the Northern Suburbs of the city of Melbourne, Australia the film showcases exceptional Australian acting talent and provides the perfect platform for a whole new viewpoint of thriller and horror thematic elements.
