Los Angeles, CA (Oct. 19, 2023). Freestyle Digital Media is the digital film distribution division of Allen Media Group. It has acquired North American VOD rights to the animated family feature film Best Birthday Ever. Which will be available to rent/own on all digital. HD internet, cable, and satellite platforms in North America. As well as on DVD, starting on November 10, 2023, through Freestyle Digital Media.

Best Birthday Ever is a family animation feature based on the best-selling book series by Rotraut Susanne Berner. It is about a small rabbit who lives with his parents, and is about to celebrate his 5th birthday.

Logline: Best Birthday Ever is the story of Little Charlie. A small rabbit who lives with his loving family and pets in a house at the edge of town. Like many five-year olds, Little Charlie goes to a kindergarten and plays with his friends in the neighborhood. He is used to having his parents’ full attention. But all that changes when his baby sister Clara is born. Leading to an unexpected adventure with his best friend Monica.

Best Birthday Ever is under the direction of Michael Ekblad (Molly Monster). It is a German-Dutch-Swedish co-production for children between three to seven. It is based on the book by Rotraut Susanne Berner. Best Birthday Ever is by writer Aje Andrea Brücken. It is produced by Alexandra Schatz Filmproduktion. Alexandra Schatz, Submarine Sublime, and Bruno Felix. Also Janneke van de Kerkhof, and Femke Wolting. Dieter Reinhold, Slugger Film, Michael Ekbladh, ZDF, Film I Skane and Simon Crowe.
