NEW YORK (Sept. 17, 2026)—Award-winning author and filmmaker Will Savive has launched Season 2 of Will Savive’s Midnight Stories, an independently produced vertical horror anthology that delivers complete, twist-driven stories in approximately two minutes. The eight-episode season premiered Sept. 15, with new episodes released Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:12 p.m. ET on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and WillSavive.com
“Everything begins with the story,” Savive said. Season 2 expands the format with more dialogue, darker scenarios and sharper moral consequences, while preserving the suspense, hidden clues and final-turn revelations that define the series.
The series has surpassed 40,000 views across platforms, while Savive’s broader YouTube work has generated more than 120,000 cumulative views. Each episode begins at 2:17 a.m. and explores the fallout from a choice, secret or lie—an approach summarized by the series tagline: “Every Choice Has a Consequence.”

Savive brings an unconventional background to the project: a degree in forensic science, experience in true crime and 17 published books. He creates, writes, narrates and edits Midnight Stories independently, shaping the performances, sound, pacing, continuity and final cut. AI-assisted tools support the visual-production process after the story and script are established.
“AI is part of my visual production toolkit, but it isn’t the author,” Savive told PopHorror in a feature published Sept. 15. The interview, “Nightmares Begin at 2:17: Will Savive Talks ‘MIDNIGHT STORIES’ Season 2,” traces his move from forensic science and true crime into horror fiction, the development of his connected “Williverse” and the production choices behind the new season.
