indieactivity: What is your film about?
Rachel Handler (RH): Our stirring documentary explores the failures of the U.S. health system through the lens of four women with disabilities.
Tell us about the festival run, marketing and sales?
RH: We won the Best Awareness Campaign in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge and have screened at Heartland, Hollyshorts, Reelabilities LA and other film festivals around the world.
Development & Financing?
RH: Our film was part of the Disability Film Challenge and as per their rules, all cast and crew were volunteers.
Production?
RH: Due to the pandemic we had to film the interviews on Zoom.
Festival Preparation & Strategy?
RH: Disability is so often left out of representation in the media, we put it at the forefront of our film.
The Release?
RH: It has been released on the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge YouTube channel.

RH: Use your own life experiences in your art. And always be as inclusive as possible!
