‘Married w/o Kids’ Web Series Premiere at New Voice’s Web Summit 10/26

Tameeka Colon-Parson presents pilot episode Oct. 26th at The Stuart Cinema & Cafe

Brooklyn, NY – Hilarious new comedy web series Married w/o Kids have announced their pilot episode will premiere at the 2019 New Voices Web Summit on Saturday, October 26th. The one day event will take place in Brooklyn, NY at the Stuart Cinema & Cafe. The New Voices Web Summit will bring together some of today’s most talented, creative, emerging content creators and industry professionals together in a one day event.

The series creator, Tameeka Colon-Parson, has just released the series Kickstarter Campaign on September 10th in an effort to finish raising the remaining capital needed to continue filming the episodes needed to complete Season One. The series creator will be apart of the Black Women in Media panel.

Married w/o Kids , a new comedy scripted series about two young Black artists living in Brooklyn, struggling to make their dreams happen while balancing their day jobs, wavering friendships and the inevitable grind it takes to ‘make it’ in the city of dreams.

Tameeka Colon-Parson has been creating innovative and engaging independent content since 2011. As an MFA recipient of Brooklyn College, Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, her silent film “Perfect Stranger” was not only selected as a Faculty Pick of 2016 but was also selected as a finalist for the Glamour and Girlgaze #NewView Film Competition in 2017. Since then, she has gone on to work with The Bennett Sisters, Toshi Reagon, and has produced music videos for artists such as Grammy Award Winning artist, Anna Wise (Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A ButterFly) “Go” .
