Kristen Pope on “What happens at the Ocktober Film Festival?”

The Ocktober Film Festival (OFF) is a New York film festival that serves as a platform for artist to express themselves through film and new media. We are heavily involved with the independent filmmaking community and therefore, this festival has become a trusted resource for emerging and established filmmakers. OFF 2014 showcased some of the best visionaries in music and film. This year, we will be expanding our efforts to include more distribution opportunities for all of our selected films.

Our Red Carpet Opening Night, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, will include notable celebrities, producers, distributors, and independent filmmakers from across the country.

The Ocktober Film Festival is excited to continue to provide useful information that will enrich and empower the filmmaking community. Educational workshops in acting, writing, filmmaking, producing, distribution and financing will be available to the public. Due to the generosity of our sponsors, we will again able to offer some of these classes free of charge and even include cash prizes.

We invite you to join us this year at the Ocktober Film Festival! Unveiling with over 3000 attendees, we expect a significant outcome this year.
